This inaugural event, scheduled for May 9th and 10th in Kampala, Uganda, aims to create a dynamic platform for local and global stakeholders from both the public and private sectors. The event is organised in partnership with Seagrass, Verra, Innovation: Africa and the Uganda Investment Authority.Â

The first day of the forum will delve into the latest regulatory developments in the carbon market landscape, providing a unique platform for discussion and feedback on their implications. Day two will shift the spotlight towards the intersection of climate finance in East Africa with carbon markets and corporate net zero goals. Attendees will also explore investment opportunities in the region through a showcase of carbon projects.
